Kevin O’Shea
Kevin O’Shea is the host, writer, and producer of Supernatural Japan. He grew up on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada, where he first became fascinated by spooky folklore. Kevin works as an international educator (for more than 20 years) and has taken his work to South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, and China. Kevin’s wife is Japanese, and he spent more than 10 years living in Kobe and Osaka. His love affair with spooky history and folklore deepened further with his experiences in Japan.
Kevin digs into the dark lore and history wherever he lives, but his true spooky heart will always be in Japan. Currently, Kevin and his family make trips back to Japan several times a year, when he always makes sure to visit some supernatural sites in person.
Kevin has hosted the very successful Just Japan Podcast, the Nature Talks Podcast, and his expat diary podcast, Tales from Kevin.
